Washing

Today it was laundry and dish washing. It's fun to organize clothes after washing. I still have more to go. Other than that so many creative ideas are flowing through my head. I'm trying to capture them all, and take it one step at a time. I'm really looking forward to everything that's to come. I hope that as an artist, a healer, and an organizer...I can be recognized. Worked out as well. I love seeing progress as I work towards being as healthy as I can be. Did any of you feel that way today?


Advice: I believe in communication,respect,love,honesty, sharing with and helping others. I believe that if you want something you go after it with passion and strength. Avoid going against the stream of your own self worth.Everyone is beautiful in their own way. Look at the world around you in the most positive light you can. It's not all good all the time, but you can overcome any obstacle. We're all on a journey. Let's reach out and take it together. One step at a time being open to forgive ourselves and others of any missteps.

Moving up and in

Preparing to move is really quite a cleansing thing. Some people will get lost in the tedium of all the work to be done. I enjoy it. Organizing, cleaning, reorganizing. It's not just an external thing. Inside you feel cleaner. You've worked hard. You feel satisfaction..at least I do. Maybe you're doing it because you have to or because you love the move  you're making. We're looking up and forward to the future. To better days filled with working towards what we really desire. It's important to take some time now and again to look around you, take it all in, appreciate you, and make any changes you'd welcome.


Advice: Stopping to smell the roses, to follow your heart..those are most important. Sometimes we all get lost in the day to day. Let's be appreciative of what we have and change what we don't want.

Hot and Cold

It's getting so hot outside now you'd hardly think it's still spring. The windows open a crack and the fan on high still seems to cool things off. Some days are easy and some you don't know if you'll make it through. In a moment, it all can change for better or worse. Let's hope for the better. I wonder what you all find yourself doing at this time? Are you feeling the freshness of spring?

Advice:Behaving may be overrated! Dare to be naughty. ^_^

 We're trying to fit in
struggling to make it
in a world that doesn't understand us
that doesn't know who we are
or what we are
what we can do
and what we won't do
is compromise 
just to be something we're not
on our own terms we'll make a path
we'll grow a new forest
plant a new garden to harvest from
the fruits of love

Overcast days

Today it's quite cloudy. The sun keeps peeking in and out of the clouds. I'm just tired and drained. Feel like sleeping all day. I hope you all are finding more energy to accomplish your goals than I am. If you're not, let's all just cuddle up together and have a day of rest. ;D

Advice: The truth is simple yet profound. It is self evident. It is logical. You should not overindulge or harm yourself or others. You should not deny who you are or what you enjoy. It is all about the balance. Be true to  yourself and those around you. Love yourself and they will love you. In unity there is delight. Do not be afraid to try. Follow your passions. Communicate. Know your boundaries, but be open to explore, to learn, and to recieve. Reach out to give. Forgiveness is divine forget guilt. Love, hope, faith, balance, 42

Starlight star-bright....no sleep tonight

Last night was one of those nights. Up until 4am. Awake without being able to sleep when you wish you could. I'm more of a night owl by nature so it happens quite often. I'm doing almost nothing for hours because I can't focus on anything of substance. Knowing I should be sleeping and drifting through  a world that is neither here nor there. Do you find yourself drifting too? Today's advice is one of those general ideas of life. The poem is about my Scarf and the nature of a real person behind a performer....
 
Advice: Love your neighbor as yourself
You have to respect, trust, and love yourself. When you have that confidence it radiates out into your life.

Late Mornings

Some mornings you wake with a start. You didn't sleep well at all the night before. You've woken up late now. It's almost noon...not even morning anymore. *sigh* However, no matter the time just stretch, smile, and taste the coffee...or orange juice in my case. 


Advice: It's a new day to work, to laugh, to share with your fellow man. So shine brightly with whatever day you've been given. =D

New beginnings

As I find myself on the edge of new beginnings, I wonder if you too find your world changing around you? Here i'll be sharing my thoughts and my poetry in one collective place. Everyone seems to enjoy sharing with me, and I welcome everyone who shares my life journey as well. I was in a sad mood the other night, and wrote my newest poem. I usually get out of my moods by being creative. I will also be working on art to post given time. =) 
 Positive thought for this month: Be open to all the possibilities. Set no boundaries on achieving your goals. Let the universe bring you joy without restraint. In it's own time, in it's own way what's best for you will come to be.


Lost


 life gave you a taste of happiness
so it could savor stabbing you in the back
just when you thought it might be all right after all
you see the illusion
as it all crumbles
to emptiness


we were reaching for happiness but it escaped our grasp
so desperately we wanted something to hold onto
sand between our fingers
time running out
we lost our way
from what we thought was right


all we had is gone away
it flew past
on wings we never saw
tears raining down
the bitter taste
of nothingness


do you care so much
that you're numb
is my suffering somehow yours
if I die
are you dead inside as well


our mistakes we can't take back
no way to make amends
nobody to care if you lost your way
in the end
sadness takes us over the edge
